Reemplazando XP

Linux Mint: The purpose of Linux Mint is to produce a modern, elegant and comfortable operating system which is both powerful and easy to use. Started in 2006, Linux Mint is now the 4th most widely used home operating system behind Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS and Canonical's Ubuntu. Based on Debian and Ubuntu, it provides about 30,000 packages and one of the best software managers.

Xubuntu: Xubuntu is an elegant and easy-to-use operating system. Xubuntu comes with Xfce, which is a stable, light and configurable desktop environment. Xubuntu is a community-developed, GNU/Linux-based, Free/Open Source operating system for personal computers. It is built on a core of the popular Ubuntu operating system. Xubuntu is perfect for those who want the most out of their desktops, laptops and netbooks with a modern look and enough features for efficient, daily usage. It works well on older hardware too.

Lubuntu: Lubuntu is a fast and lightweight operating system developed by a community of Free and Open Source enthusiasts. The core of the system is based on Linux and Ubuntu . Lubuntu uses the minimal desktop LXDE, and a selection of light applications. We focus on speed and energy-efficiency. Because of this, Lubuntu has very low hardware requirements.

Elementary OS: is a computer operating system built on the Linux kernel. It is designed to run on any relatively new 32- and 64-bit desktop or laptop, whether Mac or PC.
