¿Sin suficiente inflación?

En el New York Times de hoy Krugman dice que para la economía de EEUU no vendría mal un poco de inflación y que las políticas deberían centrarse en bajar el desempleo.

Lo que sigue es el comentario de uno de sus lectores:

Dr. K.,
You never seem to tire of creating and spending other people's money. Do you think the bill never comes due - or do you not care about the generation who will have to pay it? The simplistic increase in money supply due to inflation will NOT change the restructured labor market where jobs have gone overseas to seek the cheapest labor possible (now begining to go to africa because chinese labor is getting more expensive). But the simplistic and ideologically-inspired increase in inflation WILL choke off seniors on fixed incomes and steal from the bank accounts of savers who have behaved responsibly. In the end, all we will have is a bigger debt, a poorer middle class, and fewer tools to work our way out of this mess. You are an irresponsible pundit and an ideological tool no worse than any right-wing consrvative.
Not enough Inflation, Paul Krugman en el NYT.
